Hey there,
It's been a while, a LONG while since I've written here. Currently, it is the end of January. Just came back last week from visiting Hawaii and spending New Year's Day at home. Flew out on the Eve with Cyn and we landed early in the morning. Had a great time in the company of family and friends. Not too many changes, but it felt like a mini culture shock again. Smaller roads, congestion of cars, and expensive prices on everything. Really enjoyed that the general population are such nice and friendly people. Mom and dad ended up flying out to Japan a day before I left. So it was just Scruffy and I at home to hold down the fort. Kaila and Matty are growing up and Matty finally got comfortable with me at the end. Too bad I had to leave!
I started my full-time, permanent job as an inpatient PTA at the VA Hospital in August. It was a change, but I've really grown to enjoy the staff and the atmosphere. I work PRN at TLC in Henderson, where Cyn works. Haven't been called in lately due to their increase in staff and less patient load. Just living life and hoping to return home later in the year. Until then I will continue to enjoy each day and try to make the most of the opportunities presented. My new year's resolution was to live in positivity, peace, and love. Just to focus on being positive and emitting good vibes and energy. I enjoy painting and trying to see if I can upkeep plants. Here's to 2014, positivity, and letting go!
